Dick Tracy is passable entertainment, but it suffers from being over the top and silly. I hate Madonna's inclusion in the film because she has absolutely no acting talent whatsoever, but Al Pacino and Warren Beatty are perfectly cast.
Danny Elfman's music is good, but it fails to meet the standard of his previous work in Batman. Honestly, Bugsy Malone is both similar and superiour to this film.
