If Land of the Dead was Romero's statement about post-911 America than this is he reaction to our current culture of voyeurism. Probably his most nihilistic view of America since Night of the Living Dead.
Romero once again reminds who the real monsters are. If this is his final installment in his trail blazing Dead series, it would be the darkest note he could possibly play for a swan song.
Excellent horror film with it's heart and mind in the right place.
