George Romero is a great director, his movies seem to purposefully cast mediocre actors and have some bad dialogue but after all these movies I?ve learnt just to go with it. Diary of the dead is a new format for Romero and he does is very well, the editing is genius and there are a lot of great shocks.
The way it is filmed gives it the feel of a video game and it is very welcome, overall a great film with a powerfulending.
