Review of Diary of the Dead (2007) by Ashley S — 12 Apr 2012
You can tell George A. Romero was trying something new to his great series but the problem is, the handheld camerma trick has been done before, still that's not a bad thing, it still works as a good horror.
It's not scary and the gore scenes are abit so-so but it almost has a bit of real to it, reality as it were. The cast are good and carry the film (haha) very well but it's starting to get a bit boring but Romero is still a great director and can make a good zombie film.
This isn't his best, nor as good as the others but a worthy follow...but only just.
