Review of Diary of the Dead (2007) by Cole M — 19 May 2012
Predictable, flat, boring. Romero tries to make an attempt here to be deep. The film is obviously a metaphor of the passion and dedication in a film-makers life. But once the cameraman films a zombie running after the girl and not doing anything.
... The film is just illogical and irritating. It makes no sense. There is no depth in the characters and the script-writing is dreadful. Romero does succeed at making awesome death scenes though. No one can deny the fun and humour in zombie flicks :).
