After reading poor reviews I took my keen 9 yr old daughter and her friend, hoping to catch up on some zzzzzz.
However I loved it! I didn't laugh the whole time but laughed a lot. I liked the firm nod to modern family life - it's cruel way of insisting that attempts of hanging out together, like we remember The Waltons doing, require an enormous amount of energy, are full of obstacles and most likely to happen when we chill out and lower the stakes.
