Review of Diary of a Mad Black Woman (2005) by David L — 24 Jul 2010
This was my first Tyler Perry movie, and had not ever seen or heard his plays before I watched it; and not knowing what genre it possibly could be. At first I thought it would be just drama, but it turned out to have quite a bit of humor in it- so for that; it is one of my favorites.
It always lifts me up, and keeps my hopeless romantic heart in tact. Genuine acting, great laughs/ witty humor as well as slapstick and a story to keep you believing in the good in people.
