Surprisingly slow for a movie that features Ernest Borgnine as a ram-horned Satan; co-stars William Shatner, Tom Skerritt, Eddie Albert, and John Travolta; claims Anton LaVay as technical consultant; has a plot consisting a battle of good versus evil in a rural American ghost town inhabited by black-hooded devil-worshippers whose eyes appear to have been gouged out; and includes copious melting faces.
The ending is just fantastic, though! Made me want fondue.
