Review of Devil's Rain (2009) by Martin B — 24 Oct 2011
William Shatner didn't do many satanic horror movies. So you have to take care of this one. This is the tale of some desert satanists that have been looking for some book in like 300 years. And William Shatner just got hold of the book. The satanists kill his father, and turns his mother to a psychopath, they even beat up his grandfathter. Shatner (as Mark Preston) can't tolerate this so he goes on a trip few have dared to go on before. He gets evetually also caught by the people of hell and we watch some guy with a mustasche and a chick that can think back in time who continues the story killing as many as they can.
A lot of the satanists melts down, one way or another. Ernest Borgnine is one creepy guy. He's pretty creepy in the movie as well, and ridicoluos.
Strange, confusing, funny, and very 1975 looking drama that you don't see every day.
