Review of Devil's Due (2014) by Mark L — 14 Apr 2014
Found-footage horror movies need to go away and take their predictable, lazy, and carbon-copy formulas with them! Devil's Due is so run-of-the-mill that it packs literally NO SURPRISES and heavily rips off plot elements of Rosemary's Baby and even has the gall to place cameras in rooms around the house halfway through the runtime; just like another series that won't die.
The ending makes no sense and the character's fates don't add up considering EVERYTHING THEY'RE BEING INTERROGATED FOR IS ON FOUND-FOOTAGE! It's not the absolute worst thing I've ever seen, but it's pretty lame and if you're a horror veteran, stay far away.
The friggin baby-carriage publicity prank was more entertaining.
