Devil's Due is another found footage repeat for a supernatural horror film that is less on the thrills and slow.

The found footage is starting to become redundant and overused like this film. Sure, found footage started out surprising like Cloverfield, and the first couple of Paranormal Activity's and Chronicle was a different take. But now, it lost its energy and is becoming the same thing over again and filled with cliché's of people carrying cameras during a terrifying scenario.

Devil's Due is about a newlywed couple Zach (Zach Gilford) and Sam (Allison Miller) going on a honeymoon in the Dominican Republic. Until they visit an underground club, and they both wake up the next day after passing out. They arrive home, and Sam finds out she is pregnant which they are happy for the start of a family. Until she is slowly transitioning with possession like effects and mysterious people are secretly keeping them under surveillance. While her baby could be the antichrist, and Zach tries everything to save her.

The plot felt like it borrowed some concept like 1968 Rosemary's Baby film but in a found footage format. There was no thrills or scares that can keep the movie engaging. It was boring and slow that it was hard to care about what was going to happen next in the movie. The cliché of the main character carrying a camera during uneventful scenarios was not as believable.

The movie felt like a bad amateur style filmmaking abusing the concept of found footage. It really looked like it when there is no sense of excitement anymore. Devil's Due is horrible and it is showing that found footage concepts have run its course.
