Review of Devil's Bride (2016) by Dawn A — 15 Nov 2018
I came across this movie while browsing on Netflix. I was not sure if movie would be able to maintain my attention for long but It actually did. It is based on witch hunt of 17th century. I think film editing is pretty good.
From the start they focused on healers and how they used natural treatments to help people yet were accused and executed for witch craft. The best part for me was the end where the mother modified the story for her daughter to make an optimistic outcome of a witch trial and the continuation of education about regional herbs.
