A classic flick man.... all, the fuckin, way. I just cant believe I avoided this one until recently, and now its one of my alltime favorites. Yes, you may be saying to yourself that Detroit Rock City is cheesy and contrived brotha, but look a little closer man, this shit rocks.
It seethes pre Superbad humor and satisfaction, and in my eyes, this shit is even better. I'm not really a KISS fan, but the movie is for rockers and metalheads evrywhere, and has a soundtrack filled with only the most killer licks of hard rock of the 70s.
This flick to me is like Sweet Sixteen to chicks or Revenge of the Nerds to nerds.
