Regardless of what the pencil-neck, over-educated, mundane Professional Film Critics say DETROIT ROCK CITY ROOOOCCCCKKKSSSS!!!!!!!!

No; it's not The Best Rock N' Roll Movie Ever Made BUT its the BEST KISS ROCK N ROLL MOVIE EVER MADE.

Just like Paul Stanley says in the audio-commentary KISS dosen't necissarily mean Knights in Satan's Service but "KISS" means.

"KISS MY ASS".

And "that's" what Rock n' Roll, as a form of music is: telling people to go SHOVE IT!!! and to let us play the music we're playing.

KISS always seems to draw heavy criticism by Music Critics because (I think) Music Critics try to shoe-horn KISS' music into either HEAVY METAL or ACID ROCK or ROCK A BILLY . . .

KISS is PURE ROCK N' ROLL; a "ROCK N' ROLL RELIGION" as GENE SIMMONS says in DETROIT ROCK CITY'S DVD audio-commentary.

And yes, KISS changed their style in 1973 (HOTTER THAN HELL) and then again in 1974 (DRESSED TO KILL) and then again in 1976 (DETROIT ROCK CITY) and then again in 1979 (DYNASTY) and they changed their style again in 1980 (MUSTC FROM THE ELDER and UNMASKED). Finally KISS pretty much maintained the style founded in CREATURES OF THE NIGHT and LICK IT UP.

REGARDLESS of what "style" KISS' music is, KISS-music is always KISS-music and DETROIT ROCK CITY features a story about some kids on a quest to see the KISS LOVE GUN TOUR in 1978!!!!

And DETRPOIT ROCK CITRY is AWESOME!!!!!

(Peter Criss throws the drum-stick through the air and one of the little-guys catches it. So AWESOME!!!!!).

And the (deleted) star RON JEREMY who can (deleted) is in DETROIT ROCK CITY as well as a radio dee-jay.

(I never can know whether to laugh or be grossed-out when I see Ron Jeremy in anything--RON JEREMY'S a legend though).

And the three audio commentary tracks on the DVD are VITAL for every KISS fan throughout KISS' (nearly) 40 Years of existence.

Also vital are the (3) KISSOLOGY DVD-sets.

No; film critics in the periodicals: (deleted), (deleted), (deleted), or (deleted).

WILL (probably) never understand nor appreciate KISS or DETROIT ROCK CITY).

So Professional Film Critics can "talk-all-educated" (PEDANTICALLY urbane and debonair) in their PROSE; but at least three people (to the right of this screen) CAN enjoy DETROIT ROCK CITY!!!!!!

Professional Film Critics, I think can actually BORE themselves to death with their "fancy" ways of expressing the most "thoughtless" and "shallow" ideas.

The people reading this and I are just as smart as any Professional Film Critic.
