4/5. The first 2 acts of Detroit are harrowing and disturbing. The film keeps you on the edge of your toes and rides the line between historical and drama and an outright horror film. Unfortunately the 3rd act goes on for far too long.
This and one large plot-hole prevent a really good film from being great.
