Review of Detour (1992) by Denise C — 30 Jun 2008
I know it's poverty row and I know it was shot in 6 days, but when all the lead actor can do is pout and all the lead actress can do is be shrill, you've got a one-note movie. This is the Ed Wood of noir and is obviously far from one of my favorites.
I salute it in its context, but that's about all I can give it.
