Review of Detour (1992) by Jim E — 22 Oct 2010
There is only one imperfection, and that is that the story feels like it stops abruptly and unnaturally. The movie up to that point is world-class story-telling, but I feel like they should have left out the last scene and accompanying voice-over, and kept the movie going a bit longer, bringing it to a more natural close somehow.
