UM.....WHAT THE FUCK DID I JUST WATCH??? The film thinks it's cool, clever, smart, hip, trendy, witty, funny, and retro....unfortunately, it's not any of these things. What it is though is a nonsensical, ADHD, head-spinning acid trip of a film.
Yes, it's bad....but watchably so. In the end, while I can't make heads or tails of it, Detention is an entertaining movie experience nonetheless.
