There are some minor 'Time elapsed' and continuity problem in the script, but honestly, I really admire Tsui Hark's imagination that blends history and fiction with fantasy, in the way that you've never seen in any other HK movie before.
It's really provide so much enjoyment to watch this epic adventure, including a charismatic performance from Andy Lau as Detective Dee and Carina Lau as Empress Wu..
