Enjoyable mystery / kung fu romp set amid beautiful scenery and costumes, with and a fast flowing narrative. The film is a kind of historical fantasy, featuring the usual palace intrigues and some interesting characters.
It's not "House of Flying Daggers" but definitely worth a watch.
