Detective Byomkesh Bakshy is a sharp, tour de force if it werent for the unexpected gory violence that wasnt needed. The movie has a good story with spice to it, and Rajput is decent. But the buckets of blood, are not needed and slow down the movie.
Overall this is new, fresh feat that is difrent from typical Hindi Movies. The violence could have been lowered though.
