A pretty good effort for the first film from Illumination Entertainment. Despicable Me is a great animated film. Sure it's not my favorite movie, but it's the best in the series. The story is good, the animation looks great, the characters are lovable, and the humor is actually funny.
Before the Minions overstayed their welcome, they were funny with some of the greatest moments in this film. Even though its not my favorite, Despicable Me is a great first effort.
