Review of Despicable Me (2010) by David S — 17 Aug 2014

Despicable Me is cute and has a few very delightful scenes, but overall is too unimaginative and stereotyped to hold any true entertainment. It doesn't compare against pixar's or disney's greatest, and it feels too forced.

However, it works for its target audience; the children, so it needs to be accepted for what it is. Regardless, there are far better animations for children out there, and Despicable Me doesn't deserve a strong memory of itself.
