Another genre update by Robert Rodriguez (sort of a spaghetti Western), with a terrific score by Los Lobos and great sound overall, wonderful performances by Antonio Banderas and Salma Hayek, great small roles by Cheech Marin, Quentin Tarantino and Steve Buscemi.
Plays like a dry-run for "No Country for Old Men.".
