One of Robert Rodriguez's earlier action films that take place in Mexico. And it's pretty good. I do have to says, that his Mexican action films do get quite uninspired, but this one is cool. There's good acting from famous actors and a good rock score that works good during the action scenes.

And plenty of bloody gun scenes, as well as some creative weapon ideas. But I'm not sure that it's a direct sequel to 1992's "El Mariachi", so you ain't obliged to watch this one first.
