Review of Descent (2007) by Alec B — 19 Jul 2014
The tension is executed quite brilliantly by Marshall. Yes, the film becomes a bit more obvious when the the monsters show up, but I don't really care because by that point the film already has you in it's grasp.
Not only was it a great idea making all the characters women, but to have them act just as tough, arrogant, violent, and even stupid as your standard male characters would act in the same horror scenario really makes this film stand out.
