The Descent is a very interesting art/house horror film. Easily one of the best of the decade. It creates an atmosphere of dread that never lets up. It's very Alien-esque at how it builds up. It's shocking, violent, and extremely unpredictable, with twists and turns at every corner.
Highly recommended for any horror fan! Just don't be claustrophobic!
