Review of Denial (2016) by Mahmoud K — 27 Jan 2017
No Oscar nominations. Why? I've seen several of the nominated films and I found this by far the best film I have seen this year. I thoughtTom Wilkinson was great. Perhaps it is because it is based on a real legal case where the facts are a matter of public record.
Not much opportunity for inventive rewriting of the court proceedings. The legal approach to the actual case was fascinating. Go and see it!
