Review of Den of Thieves (2018) by Saif K — 25 Aug 2018
This modern mash-up of Heat and The Usual Suspects is 'maybe, kind of... possibly' worth a watch. Gerard Butler is a great leading man. However, the film falls flat in almost every other aspect.
If you're a fan of Butler, it's worth watching the long 2-hour 20-minute flick. Otherwise, you could get away with just watching the trailer and the last 10-minutes of the film and you won't have missed much.
Butler's acting and the final [Heat-inspired] shoot-out are the only things that kept me awake for this movie.
