Review of Dementia 13 (1963) by Brian B — 30 Nov 2008
Francis Ford Coppola's second outing as director (his first was the nudie quickie Tonight For Sure) is a rather dull and plodding horror film set in a palatial estate in Ireland complete with psychotically dysfunctional family and axe murderer on the loose.
Shot for next to nothing for producer Roger Corman while he directing The Young Racers in Ireland, using the same crew and many of the same actors.
