Review of Dementia 13 (1963) by Jonathan P — 29 Jun 2011
Francis Ford Coppola's first film is very similar to Hitchcock's Psycho and is about as boring as it as well. The pace is slow and the storyline really not all that compelling. The acting is much better than any Hitchcock film (it seems that Coppola knew how to let the actors be actors) but Dementia 13 is just another run of the mill horror flick from the 60s.
