Review of Delicatessen (1991) by Jeff H — 08 Nov 2010
The opening credits would be phenominal alone as a (very)short film. Some acting is forced (the butcher) some is more reserved, natural, relateable-ie the butcher's daughter. Macabre, cadaverous, deathly, epodic and darkly ostentatious.
I love it.
