Review of Delicatessen (1991) by Simmo H — 11 Aug 2014
I bought this film for a fiver but very nearly didn't. What a mistake that would've been! This film goes straight into my top 10, possibly top 5 films. It's such a well made, visually delightful and superbly acted by all the cast.
The heady mixture of gallows humour, love interest, suicide and the general claustrophobic atmosphere of people living on top of eachother in post apocalyptic world is a joy to behold.
