Review of Delicatessen (1991) by Dimitrisfl D — 28 Aug 2013
After a massive Fallout, many people have resorted to either cannibalism or are vegetarians. Delicatessen is a very strange, but fun experience. It is wild fun that just can't be contained. The film is about a butcher who opens a Delicatessen. However, instead of meat, he cooks the people that check in. This is a very unique premise, and the film uses it to it's potential. This is one of the weirdest films I've ever graced my eyes on. Diego said that the film felt like a rip off a Terry Gilliam films.....well it is a homage, so I guess it does feel like one. However, if you love a mundane fun film, this is your film.
I'm going high....8.5/10.
Anyways, did you see Delicatessen? Did you like it?
