Review of Déjà Vu (2006) by David S — 20 Jan 2011
Decent mindless entertainment that is not consistent with what it stands up to. Certain parts of the movie explain how it will approach the concept of time-travel yet the end goes against their own established rules, which is the main demise of the movie.
Washington's character is frustrating because at the beginning he's made out to be perceptive and intelligent, yet as the movie continues, his character becomes thicker and slower, again showing the movies inconsistency in regards to the important.
Watch it, be entertained, but don't expect it to be logical or reasonable.
