Review of Déjà Vu (2006) by Lassevk — 07 Aug 2015

This is one of those movies you have to watch at least twice to fully get every nuance of. Once you've seen it once, and understand the full picture of the entire movie, watching it again gives you new insights, new things to notice and watch out for.

Denzel Washington is doing a very good job of portraying an ATF agent that works towards a solution, and not just "doing his job", threading the water.

I very much like this movie, and every time I watch it there's another thing that catches my eye that I missed with my previous viewings.

Is this movie for everyone? No, not at all. There's a lot of people that will think this is too far out there. Additionally, the "special effects", if you can call them that, have some problems at some key points in the movie.

I think that if you can accept that in the movie universe this thing is possible, then this movie is very enjoyable.
