This could easily have been your typical rom com, but at some point it turns a corner and heads into better territory. This is one of the few times I think I have seen the material make the actors better, raer than mediocre actors bringing a good script down.
Everyone is at the top of their game in this movie, and it hits all the right notes. It is a great date movie.
