Review of Definitely, Maybe (2008) by Evelyn P — 08 Mar 2015

This is literally one of my favorite movies and the best romance movie I've ever seen. The whole movie is so warm, interesting, loving and instructive. I guess I literally have seen it for move than 5 times.

I think Ryan Reynolds really made his best performance in it, which made him my favorite movie star, despite all the horrible selling movies like Green Lantern he had made later. I adore the storyline that Will's daughter asking about his early romance so that he started to recall all the happenings with 3 important women in his life.

Love life can't always be easy, but eventually you will get your happiness. Will's college girlfriend cheated on him, later his new girlfriend, who he assumed was his bound-to-end-up-with, chose her lover and her career instead of him.

And April, who was his good friend at first but later became his crash, always got the bad timings. Finally, Will got tired on his rode for true love, and ended up with his college girlfriend. But unfortunately and apparently, he couldn't be truly happy with someone he didn't love.

Thanked to all the recalling and his daughter's encouragement, he pulled up his slack again and got to end up with April happily. The movie told us not to give up when it comes to love. Maybe you can stand the food you don't like but you don't hate either, but you can't be truly happy with someone you don't love.

Sometimes the right one is just around us, all we need is just to wait for the right timing that will bring us together; and sometimes the right one is in the future, the means we have to wait patiently.

Whenever we feel losing hope, we must remind ourselves she/he worths all the waiting, because he/she will be the one that means the world to us one day.
