What could have been a corporate hatchet job on BP and its shoddy handling of the worst US oil spill is actually light on boardroom politics. Instead there is a tight focus and camera angle on the heroics of the doomed oil platforms shift crew as they struggle to service. A modern day titanic is played out with the full force of the best special effects in years.
An Epic for our times.
