Review of Deep Rising (1998) by Peter Y — 17 Apr 2006
Well... it's not awful.... watch-able but not groud-breaking. To be fair it wasn't meant to be but as a monster flick, it doesn't quite hack it and at times it seems more intent on making the monster seem cool, rahter than just plain scary.
The best moments are at the beginning and it goes downhill, albeit slowly, from there.
