Review of Deep Rising (1998) by Made In D — 18 May 2006
As far as monster flicks go, this is one of my favorites, it's a great romp with an excellent cast, a cool monster, sweet effects and a great twisted ending. The only thing that would have made it better: Una Damon going topless instead of just braless.
Too bad her character is lunch a third of the way into the film. This gets major air time on the Friday night TV movie of the week circuit in Japan where it is called THE GREED and is shown at least once a year since about 2000.
