Review of Deep Rising (1998) by Jesse P — 29 Jul 2010
Well deep rising I heard about this a while back and one of friends were saying it was one of the worst natural horror films around. So after he said that I never decide to watch. So a long time later it was on TV so I watched it and I thought what the hell worst natural horror film I thought this was extremely entertaining and cool.
So the plot for the film is about pirates are going to rob a cruise ship and when they get there the place is abandon and soon we find out all the passengers were massacred by an unknown creature stalking the ship. I thought this film was really good and a great action movie I don?t really count this as a horror sure it very bloody and there is a ton of gore but still.
The acting was very average was but can be good sometimes this is what kind of wrecks the film and stopping me from giving it a 90%. When it comes to the special effects they look poor sometimes but other times they look good but the creature designs were very cool. The action scenes were very good I was not disappointed.
Overall I thought it was a very entreating action flick and you will not be disappointed by the ending scene. This is a great film for people who love actions or horrors my final verdict is recommended see it if you will.
