Film catastrophe sans grand interet, assez moche graphiquement (les effets speciaux ont pris un mechant coup de vieux aujourd'hui). "Deep Impact" exalte le genie americain, qui, face a la chute annoncee d'un asteroide sur la Terre, a tout bien anticipe, tout prevu en un temps record.
C'est un peu moins con et legerement plus sobre que son film jumeau "Armageddon", mais tout aussi dispensable.
