Review of Deep Impact (1998) by Matthew S — 25 Jan 2009
- on tv -.
I've only ever seen the end of this movie, and once again all I saw was the end of the movie. Since recently seeing Armageddon and surprisingly really enjoyed it I've been wanting to watch this film. I always heard Deep Impact was the better disaster movie of the '98. Unfortunately I tuned in near the end once again. It didn't seem like an amazing movie to be honest. However, in the final 45 minutes or so there were some memorable moments. Morgan Freeman is the king of speeches and monologues so those bits were great. Also the whole astronaut heroes saying goodbye to their loved ones was a great emotional scene. I still plan on seeing the whole movie in full in the near future.
