Review of Deep Impact (1998) by Craig R — 13 Oct 2009
What another piece of 'America is great' propagandist shite. The acting is horrendous, especially from Tea Leoni. How that woman pulled David Duchovny is beyond me. I spent the first 10 minutes of torture thinking "hurry up Morgan Freman, it's bound to be good when he gets on screen.
" But no, unbelievably even He could not save this masturbatory piece of crap. It's basically Pearl Harbour. By the end, rather than sympathising with America I just wanted it to get destroyed.
The plot is rife with convenient twists and far-fetched happenings. Total shite.
