A rote romantic dramedy, arthouse style. The plot is cookie cutter, but embedded with the self-conscious style and pretentiously foul-mouthed dialogue that seems to pass for art these days. That said, the cast still does a great job of holding my attention despite the film's misplaced belief in its own greatness.
