Not quite sure why this was only in the theaters for a day and a half. as a huge fan of billy, I might be a little biased, but I found the film entertaining. i.e. mandy moore didn't suck so much that it was ruined for me.
stylistically the film is somewhat reminiscent of gondry's work in esofsm, and the writing is clever at times. billy was his usual talented self, and who doesn't love tom wilkinson? this is definitely better than 9 out of 10 films in wide release right now.
