Review of Deconstructing Harry (1997) by Him C — 18 Jul 2009
If you like "Manhattan" , you may either like this film further or dislike this film more.
Woody Allen was once again acting a pathetic , selfish yet intelligent middle-class since "Manhattan". However, this time he didn't follow the formula of "Manhattan" but added some new elements into it: non-linear storyline, surrealistic imagination etc.
It's just like the hybrid of "Being John Melkovich" and "Manhattan". And I really love it!!!
It's proved that Woody Allen is worth to be my all-time favourites. I do wish he can live longer and make films more.
