For a light-hearted children's Christmas movie, this film was mediocre. The acting was surprisingly bad, I expect more from DeVito and Broderick. The plot was funny, but it was a bit much. If you want a holiday movie that you can sort of watch/listen to while putting up your tree, cooking, or roasting marshmallows, this one works!
