Review of Deck the Halls (2006) by Penelope Anne " — 23 Dec 2007
Ripping off Christmas Vacation is shameless. There wasn't a single likable character and it seemed like the movie was trying to make me feel uncomfortable rather than laugh. It sucks to see actors you like (Matthew Broderick, who played the iconic Ferris Bueller) act in bad, bad movies.
I also wish they would have referenced Jesus a little more... you know, because it's Christmas. At least the outtakes on the DVD were funny, but it's sad when a movie's outtakes trumps the feature itself.
